Deer Crossing is a common driving event in Death Road to Canada.

Event Text

A deer has stopped in the middle of the road.

Group has a car: It stares at the car.
Group doesn't have a car: It stares at the group.

  • Leave it alone
  • Run the deer over (requires a car)
  • [Highest Shooting Character] tries to shoot it (requires a gun)

Results

Leave it alone

The deer quickly runs off. The quiet encounter lifts the group's spirits!

The group doesn't know much about preserving game, but they clumsily cook some meat to pack into the car.

If car survives: The car gets through, but takes some damage.

  • The only way to encounter this event without a car is to lose it right at the beginning of the second-to-last driving day, as it is a driving event, not a walking event.
