Quiet Town is a common driving event in Death Road to Canada.

Event Text

It's so quiet here. There's no signs of life or unlife. It seems like everyone took what they could and evacuated this town immediately.

  • Scavenge town thoroughly
  • Loot quickly and run
  • Rest for a day (if group has at least 2 food per party member)
  • Rest for 3 days (if group has at least 6 food per party member)

Results

Scavenge thoroughly

The group combs the town for supplies left behind, but gets ambushed by a single zombie.

All the chances are independent of each other.

Party has a character with the Paranoid stat combo

[Character], always paranoid, is not surprised by the zombie and easily avoids it.

Loot quickly and run

The group does a quick search of the most obvious places to stash supplies. Some ammunition is found.

  • (50% chance) +9-16 rifle ammo
  • (30% chance) +8-12 shotgun ammo

All the chances are independent of each other.

Rest for a day

The group barricades one of the houses and gets some much needed rest.

  • Group sleeps, healing event happens if possible
  • 2 food per party member is eaten (ignores different consumption rates)
  • [Party] +1 Morale

Rest for 3 days

The group picks one of the houses for barricading, then rests there for a few days. It's a welcome break, though it was getting boring near the end.

  • Group sleeps, healing event happens if possible
  • 6 food per party member is eaten (ignores different consumption rates)
  • [Party] +2/+3 Morale (60/40 chance, chosen randomly for each party member)
